Full Moon February 5, 2023 - First Blog Post

Snow Moon on Feb 5, 2023    This full moon symbolizes heightened emotions, increased energy, creativity, and leadership. Take advantage of its influence in your daily life by using it as a time to reflect on personal growth and transformation.

 

The Moon represents our unconscious, childhood experiences, and instincts. Different moons throughout the year have distinct meanings and energy, making each full moon a unique opportunity for self-reflection and growth.

 

My full moon challenge: Today there was an issue of a misunderstanding.  I forgot to do something at work, and my co-worker had to tackle the problem.  Instead of just letting me know about my mistake, she took it to the management.  As you can imagine, I am not happy about that.  After blowing off some steam, I realized that she did that to protect herself, in case something like this happens again.  When I approach her about it, and I must, I will admit 'my bad', 'I'm sorry', and next time please just let me know rather than escalating to management.  It's up to me to stand up for myself - no one else can do that.

That is just the smaller picture.  On the larger scale of my whole life: I can say that at this time I am indeed focused on creativity and leadership with the challenge of opening up my new office and creating new processes to facilitate people moving forward gracefully. 

 

By working with the 'energies' of the moon, we magnify the benefits.  We also set into motion a way to reflect on our personal life, that which we care most about, but that which there isn't much of an outward acknowledgement.  Our Path is our path alone.    

Here are ways to use this moon for your own path

  1. Setting boundaries: Setting limits and asserting your needs in personal and professional relationships.

  2. Taking control of your thoughts and emotions: Becoming aware of and managing your thoughts and emotions in a positive way, rather than allowing them to control you.

  3. Pursuing your passions and goals: Identifying your values and priorities, and taking actions to pursue your passions and achieve your goals.

  4. Speaking up and being assertive: Expressing your opinions, values, and beliefs confidently and respectfully, without fear of judgment or rejection.

  5. Making decisions that align with your values: Being true to yourself and making decisions that align with your personal values, rather than conforming to the expectations of others.

  6. Engaging in self-care practices: Taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being to maintain and improve your overall health and happiness.

  7. Admitting mistakes and standing up for oneself is also a way of using personal power.

These are just a few examples of how individuals can use their personal power to assert control over their own lives and experiences. The specific ways in which individuals use their personal power will vary depending on their unique circumstances and needs.  Take these ideas to heart and follow through the moons with me.  Only good things will happen.
